BoWu 博物 is an online museum: China's national treasures and the stories behind them, on one wall. No login, no ads, no tracking. What you've seen is remembered only in your own browser.
The core is the three lists of cultural relics forbidden to leave China for exhibition, published by the National Cultural Heritage Administration in 2002, 2012 and 2013: 195 objects or sets. Around them are famous objects from major museums' collections that have a Wikipedia article, ranked by how many Wikipedia languages cover them.
Each story is written from Wikipedia and Wikidata only, and every object lists its sources. Where accounts disagree, the story says so.
